Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received on or before Tuesday, December 22, will be refund at 100%, less a $100 cancellation fee.

Cancellations received from Wednesday, December 23, 2026, through Tuesday, January 5, 2027, will be refunded at 50%.

Cancellations received after Tuesday, January 5, 2027, are nonrefundable.

Getting Around

If you’re flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN), the conference hotel and the Lawrence Family JCC are each about a 30-minute drive from the airport.

On Tuesday, we’ll provide round-trip transportation between the conference hotel and the Lawrence Family JCC.

We’ll email detailed travel information to registered attendees before the conference.

Safety and Security

Your safety is our top priority. We’re working closely with local law enforcement, Federation community security partners, hotel security, and our private security consultant to keep Mifgash 2027 safe for everyone.

Food and Dietary Needs

All meals and snacks served during the conference will be prepared by  Certified Glatt Kosher under the Vaad Harabbanim of San Diego.

What to Wear

Dress for Mifgash 2027 is “California casual.” Plan to wear layers so you will be comfortable both indoors and outdoors—during the day and in the evening.

Changing Your Intensive Selection

If you want to change your intensive selection, email mifgash@jcca.org.

Photo and Video Policy

By registering for Mifgash 2027, you acknowledge that JCC Association of North America may photograph or record the event and may use those images or recordings for promotional, educational, or fundraising purposes. Registration confirms your agreement that JCC Association may use this material in any media, now or in the future, without additional approval.

Use of Recording or AI Note-Taking Tools

Recording and AI note-taking tools will be permitted in most sessions. However, at speakers’ requests or when the content is sensitive, we may ask you to pause recording and AI note-taking tools. We appreciate your help in keeping conversations open and respectful of presenters’ work.

Hotel

Information about booking your hotel room, including the special room rate available for Mifgash, will be provided once you have completed your conference registration.
